Bernice Mary Davis passed away August 25, 2010 at age 90. She was born in Port Angeles, Washington. Her parents were Iver and Ethel Skavdal. Bernice is survived by Karen Smith of Everett, Carolie Larson of Port Orchard, Carma Pullen of Kennewick, Kristi Hitchcock of Shelton, F. Dale Davis of Baltimore, Maryland, 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her aunt, Francil Vogel.
Bernice lived in the Olympia area for over 60 years and was active in many organizations during that time including 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Orthopedic Guild, Job's Daughters, White Shrine, Eastern Star, Amaranth and Daughters of the Nile. Bernice was generous with her help to others throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2109 College St. NE, Lacey.
