Xavier Ricardo Velasquez

Xavier is survived by his father Ernesto R. Velasquez; his mother Bertha A. Islas (Fuentes) and his step-father Frank V. Islas; his grandmothers Rosalva Velasquez and Bertha Fuentes. He is also survived by his brothers Armando Velasquez (Suzie), Ismael Velasquez (Jessica); his sisters Marisa Valles (Robert), Ariana Soto (Rene), Raquel Velasquez, Racheal Lujan (George), Sylvia Islas; and his girlfriend Sarah Piñon.

Xavier was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ramon Velasquez, and Ricardo Fuentes; he also leaves behind many aunts, uncles nieces,nephews and cousins that will miss him.

Xavier loved the Arizona Cardinals, U of A Basketball, and The Diamondbacks. He also enjoyed riding electric bikes all over Tucson with his brother Ismael. Xavier worked many years as a solar installer.

A visitation for Xavier will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Margaret May Alacoque Roman Catholic, 801 N. Grande Ave, Tucson, AZ 85745.
