William David Ross, born December 18, 1927, went to be with our Lord August 13, 2019. He was 91. He was the seventh child of Samuel Sullivan Testino and Bessie Caudill Testino. Orphaned at a young age, he was adopted by Charlie and Angela Ross. He follows his wife of 65 years, Frances Endicott Ross, and all of his siblings, who have gone on before him.
Survived by his children, William (Bill) Ross and his wife, Mari; Frances (Elaine) Estep, and John W. Ross and his wife, Karen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer King (Jefferson), Jason Estep (Lynette), Jeffrey Ross (Alonna) and Shannon Ross. He leaves wonderful memories for all of us. He also is survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. His nieces and nephews remember him fondly.
Bill was an active and faithful member of Tucson Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He is remembered for his service as an usher, and a greeter there, as well as a friend to many of the other members. A hard worker, he retired from Duval Copper Mine.
A celebration of his life, and a memorial for him will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 10:00 am at Tucson Baptist Church, in the Chapel just south of the main building, 1525 S. Columbus Blvd., Tucson, Arizona, Rev. Jim Howard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Handmaker, 2221 N. Rosemont Blvd., Tucson, AZ, 85712, to the attention of Teresa Forkum.
