William Hoyer Hernandez

William is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Anita, as well as their children and grandchildren.

Having lived in Tucson his whole life, William was a part of a large community and touched many lives. He was involved locally, especially in the lives of his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He spent his career as a maintenance worker, securing and ensuring mechanical function in several buildings across town. William was a well known and much loved local musician, delighting listeners with his musical talent alongside his brothers and friends. He could play many instruments, and favored the guitar.

William touched many lives, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those who had they great opportunity to know him. He will be dearly missed and deeply mourned by his family, friends, and community.

A funeral service for William will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Hope, 3555 N Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85705.
