William Arthur Cowles

William "Bill" Arthur Cowles 77 born December 27, 1940 in East Liverpool, Ohio died Friday March 2, 2018 at Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was the son of the late Raymond and Adelaide Shultz Cowles. He was married to Deborah Melody Cowles for 53 years, who preceeded him in death December 18, 2015.

Surviving him are his two sons William A. Cowles II of Casa Grande, Arizona, Craig A Cowles and wife Pennie of Plainfield, Indiana.

A sister in law Lois Foster-Hughes and Husband Bill of Piketon Ohio. A Neice Tammy O'Donnell and husband Kevin of Valrico Florida, Nephew Dan Shepard and wife Debbie of Gilbert Arizona. He had granddaughter Jennifer Renee Morrison, and 2 grandsons Timothy Scott Morrison, and Craig Allen Cowles II. He had 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Bill graduated from East Liverpool High School in East Liverpool Ohio with the class of 1959. He went into the United States Air Force after high school and is a Vietnam Veteren. He returned to Ohio and worked in the steel mill until moving to California then settling in Tucson Arizona as a instrument repair tech. He retired in 2010 He played many instruments including harmonica, guitar, banjo, piano, and organ. He had a great love of music.He would occasionally travel to senior centers and music stores at the mall to play music

He was preceeded in death by his parents and one sister Gloria Zeiner.
