HARRIS, Wayne E. age 89, of Tucson, AZ went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2018. He passed away peacefully at home. He was born January 18, 1929 to Charles and Dorothy Harris in Des Moines, IA. He grew up in Des Moines and married the love of his life, Melva Jean Buck. Together they raised four children and were married 68 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melva, and daughter, Cindy. Survived by son, Rick (Maria) Harris and daughters, Connie (Warren) Bishop, Penny (Gary) Vroegh, and son-in-law, Daniel Johnson; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and his two dogs. Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Desert Foothills Baptist Church, 10655 N Shannon Rd, Oro Valley, AZ, and laid to rest at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801E. Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ.
