She is survived by seven sisters: Darlener Shackleford, Flossie Lamay, Beatrice McCowan, Betty Jones, Elizabeth Williams, Marie McCowan, Lee McCowan, Dattie Bell, Mollie Bell, and seven brothers: Henry McCowan, Lee McCowan, Phil McCowan, Robert Williams, Frank McCowan Leeroy McCowan, Rosevelt Williams, John Williams, Ledel Williams, and John McCowan.

Four Children: Cynthia Harris, Robert Weatherless, Tamara Harris, and Ernest Huff.

A host of grandchildren: Matthew, Marquis, Raymond, Keanu, Jordan, Kevin, La Wade, Tenaya, Javier, Rajev, Alexis, Ciara, Katie, Quintin, Deshawn, Jade and Briana.

A host of Great-Grandchildren: J'Maya, Enan, Peyton, Ryen, Killian, Terriah, Deshawn and Ashiyah Vernice's number one grandchild.
