Tracy L Tuzinski

TUZINSKI, Tracy L., a 43 years native of Arizona, was born in Sierra Vista on January 20, 1970 and passed away in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, September 7, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, AZ 85706 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tracy was a graduate of Buena High School, Sierra Vista, AZ. She was a "Super Star", competing in Special Olympics events for over 20 years and winning multiple Gold and Silver medals. She was also an avid Bowler with the Tucson Therapeutic Recreation program and was awarded many trophies and special recognitions for her bowling skills. Tracy worked in the community and later at Beacon Industries where she performed assembly work. She was friends with, and an advocate for, the national Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Southern Arizona (NAMISA). Tracy loved her friends, family and her cat "Callie", was dedicated to working and passionate toward her outside activities. Tracy is survived by her mother, Judith Van Brocklen; her stepdad, Alan Van Brocklen; brother, Rodrick Tuzinski (Flower Mound, TX); sister, Jodi Truzinski (Miami, FL); stepsister, Brenda Van Brocklen (Taylor Falls, MN); stepbrother, Jeffery Van Brocklen (El Paso, TX) and various aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Tuzinski and stepbrother, Jeffery Todd Whitmer.
