Born July 12, 1958 in San Diego, CA to Joseph & Zenaida Edwards. After a long battle with ALS, Tony passed away peacefully on May 30, 2015. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe Edwards and five children: Tony (Analia), Rosina (Charles), Martha (Julian), Clarissa and Savannah; five grandchildren: Angel, Nathaniel, Luciana, Camila and Matthew; three sisters: Maxine (James), Sophia (Robert) and Rebecca (Victor)
Tony was a devout Catholic. His faith and love for God was apparent in everything he did. He always demonstrated unconditional love for everyone and never judged anyone.
Tony opened Old Towne Tattoo in Tucson, AZ, where he was well known for his script lettering and black & gray work. Tony was a proud member of the National Tattoo Association, with which he thought of all as his family. They were an amazing support group to him throughout his battle with ALS.
Tony was a proud member of the Beatniks Car Club and enjoyed spending every Memorial Day with fellow members for their annual car show. On his days off, Tony enjoyed hiking in the mountains, admiring wildlife and spending time with family and friends.
Tony’s love extended to his family, friends, fellow tattoo artists and fellow Beatniks. He leaves behind an amazing legacy for all of his family and friends. Tony was a beloved man who will always be remembered with great respect, honor and dignity. He was a loving husband, father and friend.
