Thomas H. Maher was called home on Sunday, October 20th. Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served his country both in the Air Force and as a Federal Drug Enforcement agent. Tom was the Special Agent-in-Charge of the Tucson office from 1976-1980. From there he was transferred to the American Embassy in London to be the Special Agent-in-Charge of their office. After retiring from the DEA, Tom was made Head of Narcotics for the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania. In later life, he became a security representative for the NBA, specifically the Phoenix Suns. During his retirement, Tom enjoyed many travels with his late wife, Ellen, was golf fanatic, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Tom is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (James) McGuire and his grandchildren, Sean and Erin. We Miss you! A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 9:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow immediately at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
