Susan Irene Seger

April 10,1935 - August 22,2022

Susan Passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in Tucson, Arizona. Born in Adrian, Michigan and living in Ypsilanti, Michigan the majority of her life, she was a very proud Michigan resident. She received her B.S. degree in dental hygiene at the University of Michigan in 1957 and practiced as a dental hygienist from 1957-1961. She then returned to the University to study for a Teacher's certificate and a master's degree in library sciences. upon completing her A.M.L.S. degree in 1964, she spent one year as an assistant librarian at the U of M business Administration Library. in 1966 she became the head librarian of the U of M Dentistry Library. After 32 years of dedication, she retired from the U of M.

She was a very accomplished tailor, enjoyed quilting, knitting and gardening.

Her brother Courtland, sister Martha and nephew Bradford preceded her in death. She is survived by sister-in-law Catherine, niece Janice Meyer (Bill), niece Christine Kharrazi (Navid), great nephew Alec and Great niece Madeline.

A graveside service will take place at the Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, Michigan for family and close friends.
