Steve was a loving, caring and wonderful man and will be terribly missed by devoted mother Jean, sisters Sandra and Linda, nephews Tom (Michelle), Adam & Dylan, Aunt Sylvia, cousins Anne, Tracy, David, Ben and their children and grandchildren.
Steve was preceded in death by his beloved brother Tom, devoted father Arlie, brother-in-law Brad Lewis. Other family members preceding Steve in death include much loved Nana and Grandfather Parry; Uncle Ron, Aunt Gwen, Aunt Doreen and dear cousin Debbie from across the pond.
Steve will be remembered always for his kindness, generosity and unconditional love for his family and friends.
Steve was born January 30, 1963 in France, while his father, Arlie Ball, was stationed with the U.S. Air Force there. He spent much of his childhood in Europe and many years in England, where his mother Jean is from.
He graduated from Santa Rita High School, and The University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design. Steve worked for many years in Boston, Massachusetts, and returned to Tucson in recent years to be near family. Steve enjoyed traveling, and particularly loved the many visits in recent years to England to visit family and friends in Liverpool.
Steve will be remembered by those who loved him so dearly. He had a way about him – he was a true '"renaissance man." His love of people, art, nature, animals, travel, music and so many things was inspiring to see. When you saw Steve, you knew immediately that he would make you feel so loved and special. He would greet you with a bear hug and a kiss, proceed to tell you how great you looked (even when you did not feel it), then immediately tell you witty jokes and heartily laugh and chat away. He truly lit up a room when he was present. We all feel lucky to have had Stephen in our lives and to have loved him so dearly.
Our lives are forever changed without Steve in it. Stephen, we will love you always, and miss you forever.
