I met Shelby in 5th grade.  She was at the top of my friend's list all through school. Although we didn't see each other in the past years we shared birthday wishes, with our birthdays being one day apart. I will treasure her Christmas ornamentsshe made me forever. Rest well my friend.

I was so very sad to learn of Shelby's passing. Though I only knew her briefly, we struck up a great conversation about jobs, books and sunshine.  I could tell immediately that Shelby was a kind person and a deep thinker.  Mark, my heart goes out to you. I hope memories of your deep love carry you. We were blessed to know Shelby.

I am so sorry for your loss Mark. Shelby was a beautiful woman  with a lot of wisdom.

Shelby had such a gentleness about her...she was Grace.  Always willing to lend a helping hand and always a great friend to talk to for support and wisdom. I will miss her very much.

Shelby was a beautiful intelligent and spirited woman.  I am so grateful we became close friends over the past few years.  It is not the length of a friendship, but the depth. She was a special person with a beautiful soul.  I learned so much from her and as I think of the times we shared,  I feel so incredibly blessed.  Mark, my dear one, I can't imagine your loss, and I am so sorry.  You two made "quite the pair" as Shelby often said. I am thinking of you both, praying for you both and will always remember Shelby's Grace and poise,  and how she knew she was being called home to God's Loving arms. Peace be with us all.

Shelby had 4 children; Rebecca, Meredith, Sarah & Lyndsey. She had seven grandchildren; Camren, Tristan, Jameson, Jillian, Jackson, Max & Millie. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and felt her sweet and kind spirit. Shelby’s wishes were for her grandchildren to peruse education and higher learning and she saved for years to help enable that to happen. 
Her life in Arizona and Texas influenced her life, style and artwork. She was an avid reader of novels and will always be remembered in her cross-stitched Christmas ornaments she made for her friends and family.

People die, but love does not. Mom spent her life helping people, whoever she met who needed it. She was kind and gentle and also quite good at drawing. She always encouraged me to expand my mind and learn. She let me be in my own world and would listen to the dreams that came from it. Also, when I used to read lots of horror books until I was very scared she let me follow her around, even if she was on the phone. She is loved forever and ever.

My dear friend I have no words to convey losing you way too soon. I was blessed to have you come in my life and thankful for your words of wisdom and true frienship. I truly will miss our early morning texts and phone conversations. I will be looking for you on that cloud that you will be sitting on swinging your legs off of watching over me like you told me.
