Selerina Landeros, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was 102 years old. Selerina was the mother of eight children, Victor, Armelinda, Delphina, Maria, Michael, Rose, James and Charles, as well as 25 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was surrounded by loved ones at the time she passed.
Selerina was born in the state of Guanajuato Mexico and moved to Tucson in 1982 from Chicago. She was married to her beloved husband Dionicio for over 50 years before he passed in 1992. She and Dionicio came to love Tucson and made many friends through their involvement with the church and with friendly neighbors.
Selerina was an inspiration and a beautiful person who left a permanent mark on this earth with a family who will carry on her legacy.
A visitation and rosary for Selerina will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 1950 Irvington Pl, Tucson, AZ 85746. A funeral mass will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 1950 Irvington Pl, Tucson, AZ 85746. A graveside service will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
