Roy D. Iley, 82, of Tucson, AZ passed away April 15, 2017. He was born in Carbon, TX on January 16, 1935; Roy graduated from Morenci High School in Arizona and received an Associate degree from Pima Community College. He was married to Lorene Mae Iley on January 25, 1957. Roy had a career in the Electrical Industry as a Journeyman Wireman for the University of Arizona and was a member of TRCC and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Roy had a passion for building and flying radio control airplanes. He was survived by wife of 60 years Lorene; daughter Carol; son Ken (Joyce); grandchildren Jeff, Jenna, Joshua, and Geanie; great-grandchildren Garrett, Erin, Ethan and Pierce; sister Sue (Gordon) and brother Lonnie (Linda); brother-in-law Dayol; sister-in-law Carol along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation services will be held at 10:00 a.m. April 22, 2017 with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary. 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85712.
