   Rolly has been a great friend of mine since 1961 when he moved to Organ, New Mexico.
   We grew up together playing sandlot baseball, basketball and football. 
   We swam in the WSMR Olympic size pool on the base and in the large concrete cattle tank a mile down from Organ. A Great pastime for the hot New Mexican summers.
   We went to drive-in movies and rollerskating on Friday nights in Las Cruces, rode motorcycles, and danced at the Organ Mountain community center for fun times!
   We loved hunting and fishing. Rolly continued his target shooting skills and became a National Shooting Champion for the U.S. Navy in the Armed  Forces!
   Rolly “Stan” was my best man at my wedding in Park City, Utah 1971.
   I was an enlisted man in the Navy and after I was discharged Stan became an officer in the U.S. Navy. I was extremely proud of him as he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander during his naval career!
   Stan was happy, hard-working, loved life and made you a better person for knowing him.
   Thank you Stan for encouraging me to join Facebook five years ago so I could also share with the old gang! RIP my best friend!

The very first person I met in Organ when we moved there in 1962 was Rolly. 
We 
Memory : We worked 1 summer as TUMBLEBUGS for an old Rancher Bum Walters Fixing Fences ! 
Played : 
Driving out in the Desert at MIDNIGHT HUNTING RABBITS AND A CASE OF BEER 
Enjoyed life together 
WENT Deer Hunting  IN THE in Organ Mountains and even helped bring a Deer out some of our friends shot. 
After High School we both went off to the US NAVY .
Rolly  waited to Enlist because he wanted a further amount of knowledge. So he went to Devry while I went to Viet Nam and other ports of the world.
Finally Rolly graduated and the NAVY COMMISSIONED HIM. 
Finally we both Retired and Kept in touch.
He Lived in California while I went “ BACK TO SCHOOL” (Rodney Dangerfield movie ) and I became a REAL ESTATE BROKER
ROLLY was always like a little Brother to me as was his Sister a little sister I never had. 
I shall miss him , as a piece of my Heart is forever broken, but I know we will see each other again in a place where there is no Sorrow or Diseases or Wars or Death but Life in the presence of the ALMIGHTY.

Rolly’s family were our neighbors in Organ NM. Our dads were good friends. When he and Joy were in Las Cruces in February 2020, my sisters and I met Rolly and Joy for lunch at La Posta. Awesome visit. My condolences to Joy and family.

Rolly was a true friend, we grew up in the 60s as some of the Organ NM kids! He was a hard worker and just a great guy! We had some awesome  and crazy times in the Organ Mountains and the desert! In later years Rolly and his awesome wife Joy had a couple of visits in Texas! I pray for Love and Peace for his family.  Rolly will be missed. Love you brother, RIP

Went to school with Rolland, graduated with him in 1969.  Great Guy, give you the shirt off his back.. Thought he was doing well and am saddened at his passing.  GOD grant his family peace and lift them up in their time of need.  Rest in peace Rolland.

I’ve known Stan since the 70s and he has always been a good friend. We worked together at the NASA test facility near Organ, NM. I will miss our email and online conversations. I wish I had been able to see him in person but it wasn’t to be. Prayers for his wife and family. Rest In Peace my friend. 🙏🙏🙏

Rolly was one of the nicest men I ever knew.
In the 70's he and my Father built and raced dirt track cars.
He and my Mother had a lasagna cook off. Hard to say who was the winner. They were both good.
