On Monday, February 15th, 2021 at 3:40 a.m., Roberto Marcial Enriquez, the perfect husband and father of four children was called home by God. Robert was born on January 20th, 1967 in Douglas, AZ to Angel and Josefina Enriquez. He was the proud owner of Pizzarama in Douglas, AZ for 20 years after inheriting the business from his parents. He then went onto receive his associates degree from The Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in May of 2006 where he received high honors and was selected The Bill Pierce Award recipient by his classmates as the most representative of funeral service on the basis of integrity, dedication, ambition, and outstanding professionalism. As a Funeral Director he received many accolades for his hard work and served countless families throughout his career for 15 years.
On February 18th 1995 he married the love of his life, Ana Mercedes Enriquez. Together they raised a son, Robbie, and three daughters, Alyssa, Samantha, and Teresa. Robert had a passion for serving others, watching his Dallas Cowboys on Sunday nights, fishing, hunting, landscaping, cooking, and fiercely loving his family, friends, and dogs. Many people were touched by his kindness. He was known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, comforting smile, masterful storytelling, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Angel Enriquez, his mother, Josefina Enriquez, Tia Rita, "Tata" Benito, and brother Mike. He is survived by wife, Ana, his four children, Alyssa, Robbie, Samantha, and Teresa, his siblings, Raul, John, Christina, Angel, Eddie, Tony, Armando, and Angie, several sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and a mother-in-law he cherished.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima, 1950 W. Irvington Rd, Tucson, AZ. Following the Mass, the burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, AZ.
