Robert Lewis Seale

In loving memory of Dr. Robert L. Seale 3/18/1928 - 9/16/2013 Robert Seale, 85, of Tucson, passed away on Monday September 16, 2013. Robert was born on March 18, 1928 in Rosenberg, Texas. He received a B.S. from the University of Houston, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Texas. He had a long distinguished career as a scientist, a consultant, and professor. He retired from the University of Arizona as a Professor of Nuclear and Energy Engineering in1996. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Olga (Mimi) Seale and his youngest daughter, Anne Marie Ets-Hokin. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lina Glenn Seale and his children, Katherine Holsclaw (Lyn), Linda Tiltman (Alan), James Seale (Essie) and son-in-law, John Ets-Hokin; his brother, Allen Seale (Bea) and his sister, Sue Ofield (Paul). He was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Cindy, Peggy, David, Katelyn and Tessa and seven great-grandchildren, five nephews and one niece. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY AND CEMETERY, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712 Phone Number: (520) 886-5561.
