From nearly infancy Rick was very active in all sports and academia, and in fact excelled. He was very devoted to his family, and throughout his life very helpful to other families and their children as well. He graduated from the University of Arizona with honors achieving an MBA degree. Rick was also a standout student-athlete on the University's baseball team over four years. He spent most of his adult life working as a Commercial Banker in Tucson and then San Diego achieving the position of Senior V. President.
He is survived by his father Skip Beatty, and Step-mother J. R. Beatty of Oro Valley, AZ.
