Refugio M. Robles.
"Cuco" was born on July 4, 1926, in Tucson, AZ to Blas and Guadalupe Robles. He passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 95 and is preceded in death by his beloved wife of seventy years Eluvina C. Robles. He is survived by his four Children – Gerardo & (Vivian) Robles, Cathy Leon, Rosemary & (Conrad) Yrigolla, JoAnn Robles, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren with one on the way
At the age of 17 Cuco enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed at the Naval Air Station in San Diego, California. He fought in World War II as a Seaman Second Class VSNR, served aboard the USS Dixie AD-14, and the USS Lewis Hancock DD675. On February 25,1946 Cuco was Honorably Discharged receiving the Philippines Liberation Victory Medal. In addition, Cuco served Honorably in the AZ Army National guard for over 10 years
Cuco worked for Pima County as a Mechanic and Supervisor for the Fleet Services Department for over 30 years
Cuco volunteered as a baseball and softball coach for over 25 years and was an avid U of A Wildcat fan
He will be deeply missed

Visitation and funeral services for Refugio will be held Monday, October 4, 2021. Visitation will occur from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 801 N Grande Ave, Tucson, AZ 85745.
A Rosary service will occur from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary. Mass service will occur from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Margaret Mary.
Committal service will occur from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705
