Patricia Boardman Moreno

Patricia Boardman Moreno 76, of Tucson Arizona, passed away on December 20, 2018. Patricia was born in Hartford Connecticut, as a young girl her family moved to Arizona in 1948. She graduated from Amphitheater High School in 1960. Patricia met Fred Mills Moreno and was married in the Spring of 1963. They remained together for 44 years until Fred’s passing in 2007. Patricia embarked on her professional career as a Secretary for the President of Northern Arizona University. In 1968, she accepted a position as Stenographer for the United States Geological Service in Flagstaff Arizona. Upon her Husband’s graduation from Northern Arizona University, Patricia and Fred moved back to Tucson Arizona where she accepted a position with the United States District Courts. She retired as a Deputy Clerk after 20 plus years of service.

Patricia’s retirement years were spent playing golf, traveling with friends, attending the theater and actively being involved with her grandchildren. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother, who was energetically involved in all facets of her son’s personal lives. She was the cornerstone of the family, providing lessons of love each day and enriching the lives of her grandsons.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Fred M. Moreno and her parents Francis G and Frances F Boardman. She is survived by her loving sons and wives Fred (Anne) and Erik (Julie): four adoring grandsons; Freddy, Adrian, Morgan and Gavin. Patricia is also survived by her sister; Virginia Parmer; brother Arthur Boardman plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. A committal will occur Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712.
