Born July 20, 1953, in Stamford, Connecticut, Nancy was a graduate of Stamford High School. She had a unique sense of humor, was a huge fan of the Beatles, the New York Yankees and MAD Magazine and she loved all animals. Her dog, Max, and a cat also died in the fire.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Henry A. and Muriel Layne Sarama and her sisters, Judith Layne Szarama and Marjorie G. Stoddard. She is survived by two nieces, Beverly Foster (Sean) of Stamford, and Janet Cappiello (Mark) of Mount Washington, Kentucky, as well as three great-nieces, Amanda Foster of Stamford, Anna Blake of Louisville, Kentucky, and Layne Blake of New York, N.Y.
