Nancy Elizabeth Martinez

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy E Martinez, wife, mother, sister and friend, of Tucson on November 12, 2023. Nancy was born to Michael and Doris Wishnies on April 11, 1952 in Queens NY.

Nancy grew up in various locations in the United States, as well as Europe and Japan as a military dependent. Nancy settled in Tucson in 1972.

Upon completion of her studies, training and certification she began a 42year career as a hairdresser, working at various locations in Tucson. In August 1974 she married Al Martinez and they had a daughter Kimberley. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Al, daughter Kimberley, brothers Craig, Steve and Mike.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday January 5, 2024, 10:00am at Saint Pius X.
