He was born Sept 5, 1954 in Terre Haute, Ind. He lived and went to school in Paris, Il. After moving to Tucson, AZ in the early 1970's he started shaping golf courses that started and became his career.
Survived by his loving wife Yongmei Su (Lena), daughter Fangfei Chen (Feifei), son Edward Marcus Hathcock, mother Goldie E. Gibson, grandson Silas Marc Hathcock, nieces Leslie Ann Parsons, Lisa Kay Refre, Lori Lynn Palman (Jeremy), Lana Sue Becwar (Dean), brother-in-law Peter A. McEvoy, several great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Preceded in death by a brother Kenith George Hathcock, sister Marsha Ann McEvoy.
A reception and remembrance of Mikes' life will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary 5801 E. Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ. on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at 12:30 PM.
