Merritt Tatum, 87 of Tucson passed away on December 28, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. Merritt was born on September 27, 1929 in Fairfax, South Dakota, the son of Rosco Hubert and Esther May (McGorge) Tatum.
In addition to his daughter, Sandy Robbins, step-daughter, Julissa McDermott, step-son, Miguel Clemenes, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Merritt leaves behind his lifelong partner and love of his life, Estela Clemenes, after 30 years of being together. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13 at 10:00 am at Desert Rose Heather Cremation and Burial, 1040 N Columbus Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85711.
