Mercy H Cruz

On May 7, 2017, our beloved beautiful mother Mercy H. Cruz left us to be with our heavenly father. She is now reunited with our father Robert Cruz, our sister Debbie, and granddaughter Deyvonne Perez. Mom was special in so many ways. Always so caring, loving, and she devoted her entire life to her family and to helping everyone. She was such a hard worker. She worked long days and came home to prepare her specialties that became the family’s favorite meals; how we miss her homemade tortillas, beans, rice and salsa. Mom was a great dancer even toward the end of her life she was still dancing. When she would hear music at parties or on the radio, she would always sing. Those who knew her know mom’s hobby was the Casino Del Sol, Oh how she loved that Casino. Dad would drop her off in the morning. She would be there all day and night. When she was ready to go home, she would call any of her children to come pick her up in the middle of the night and in her mind it was still daytime. Mercy always called her two daughters ‘Cindy and Clarissa her “Dolls” we were her dolls. We will all miss you so much mother. Mercy is survived by her children Cindy (Ismael) Cota, Robert Jr. (Jenny) Cruz, Clarissa (Carlos) Durazo, Mark Cruz, Valentin Cruz, Armando Cruz, her nephew Pete Hernandez, 20 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
