Mary Oralia Salcido

Mary Oralia Salcido, of Tucson, Arizona born December 29,1940 passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at home surrounded by family and love at the age of 80. Preceded in death by her parents Jose and Josefina Badilla, brothers Ramon and Reynaldo, as well as Margaret Ramirez whom she she always said was like a sister.

She is survived by her husband Lankie aka Frank, children Debbie, Frank (Geraldine) and Denise (Eric). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and not to be forgotten are her grand-pups and grand-cats.

While she went by many names, Maria, Mom, Nana, Yaya and Viejita. We all were speaking of the same amazingly strong and beautiful person. Be it family, friends or the neighborhood kids you knew you would get a scolding if you misbehaved but you also knew she was your biggest supporter. She had a hand in raising a lot of us and there are a lot of us who will forever be grateful to have had her in our lives.

Services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 with viewing from 9:00 - 10:00am and Rosary from 10:00 - 11:00am. Additional viewing will take place at 11:00am with graveside services to follow at Noon. Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
