To the Bass Family: 
Please accept my condolences on the loss of dear Mary Jo. I just learned of, and was saddened by, her passing only a few days ago. My fondest memory of the sweet and gentle friend she was, is from the time of  our realty company trip to L.A. We were roommates and had a blast exploring the legendary Rodeo Drive, and gasping at those excessive zeroes on the price tags! In one shop, we counted, yet still couldn't believe, there were four of them after the number 6, for a plain ostrich leather tote! I will never forget her.

My wife and I met Chuck and Mary Jo in 2010 at a seminar. We did not know them but since our last names were the same we decided to introduce ourselves and invite them to our table. This was the start of a very enjoyable Christian friendship that consisted of ice cream treats at their house, trips to Mt Lemmon, meeting at Sweet Tomato and other enjoyable times including a real estate transaction. We always enjoyed both of them immensely. We are looking forward to seeing them in heaven. Carroll and Carolyn Bass.

I first met Mary Jo on a Christmas vacation to Tuscon with my husband, Jim, Chuck's brother, and our one-year old son, Mark to meet the family. Dean was,also,a toddler at the time. Mary Jo and I found we were both September babies (Virgos) and 
the rest was easy. We had numerous visits over the years, the most recent a cruise to Alaska. She loved to dance - and would tell you she was quite good at it. She had a beautiful smile and a great deep laugh. She so looked forward to her visits with her mother and sisters, loved 'Chuck' greatly, as well as her boys.  I will remember Mary Jo's keen business sense, her devotion to her family and her beautiful silver and turquoise jewelry that she wore so well!  My prayers and love to her boys and all the grandchildren. May she continue to grow in the nearer presence of Our Lord. Rest in his eternal loving arms.  Aunt Kathy and the Florida family

Mrs. Mary Jo Bass, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I worked at a bank she used to bank at in the 80's and always admired her confidence, friendly smile and charisma. She was a special lady.
