Marion David Steiner traveled peacefully into his Heavenly Father's arms on Friday, December 20 at 1:30 pm. He passed from stomach cancer and was under the compassionate care of Valor Hospice Care and Helping Hands Adult Care at the time of his passing.
Marion was born on March 15, 1941 in Orrville, Ohio to Vincent and Treva Steiner (Rickner). He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1959. He attended Mount Vernon Bible College where he met Beverly Kihle, whom he married in 1962 and had three children. In 1974, he married Deanna Harris. His work career included Christian ministry, employment as a butcher, a laborer at Broom Engineering, and maintenance at Foothills Mall. He had a pilot’s license and owned his own airplane. In 1972, he moved to Arizona where he lived most of the remainder of his life in Tucson.
Marion is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Louie, Earl, Nolan, Kenny and Jerry, and sisters Miriam, Georgia, and Betty. He is survived by siblings John, Olan, Janice, Duane and Phil and his children Jeffrey Steiner, Jennifer Seidle, and Jodi Offutt. He had fifteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We will celebrate Marion’s life at Calvary Evangelical Center, 5160 S Treat Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706 on Thursday, January 2nd,, 2020. Visitation with family begins at 10 am with a service following at 1030.
