As I try to find the words to describe Mario, a single word won't do it. He was talented, patient, hardworking, caring and loyal.  Mario wouldn't hesitate to extend a hand to help someone in need. He was a musician and shared his love of music with all of his children. He was "Uncle Mario " to our  children and big part of our family.  Mario had conviction in his beliefs and he stood his ground. He was always there in a  pinch. We are all lucky to have  known and loved Mario for the short time we had with him. I love you Brother  and I will miss you dearly. 

Mario is proceeded in death by grand parents Joseph F. and Imogene aka Jean Galioto, Andrew and Katrine Riggle, and his father Joseph P. Galioto.  Mario's family: wife Brandy, daughter Juliet, sons Andy, Mario jr., Malcolm, Aaron  his wife, daughter and son. He has one brother Joseph P. and two sisters Lora Hastings and Julie Gabhart, nephew Jonathan Galioto-Cruz who looked to Mario as a second dad, (he considered him the best roll model in his life) and his mother Andrea (Riggle, Galioto) Pitrat.

As I tried to find a picture to add to this page I could not find one of Mario alone, that wasn’t an elementary school picture. It says so much about who he is. He loved his family and friends and we surrounded him. He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and you could count on him for a good laugh. His smile and laughter were contagious… Brother, I will miss you so much. I could always count on you as an adult and as a child. Sometimes it was on Galioto time😉, but you always came through… As little kids in Phoenix you took me for bike rides down by the canals, roller skated with me by the Copenhagen, taught me to play Galaga, and let me watch you beat the pants off of everyone at Defender. Most older brothers wouldn’t be so patient… When we moved back to Tucson, you became my protector. I didn’t appreciate then, either did my friends 😆 , but as an adult it warms my heart to know how much you cared… One of my fondest memories is our trip with the boys to California and Disneyland for Jonathan’s 6th birthday. Disneyland with my brother’s and our kids, couldn’t have asked for me. We all laughed so much… It has been awesome watching your family grow and the father and father figure you had become. We were all blessed by your love, patience, kindness, laughter, selflessness, and hard work…It has been quite a rollercoaster we have been on and I can’t imagine  having had anyone else in the seat next to me. I love you and will miss you terribly


Some of my very first memories were of Mario when I was probably 3. I grew up watching him Jam on his acoustic guitar and zone out out who’ll playing the drums, ride wheelies and jump his motorcycle, one early memory of him drag racing his buddy on motorcycles in Phoenix I believe. I can’t help but cry my eyes out while looking at pictures and listening to his favorite Alice in Chains songs. He was the closest thing I had to a Dad growing up. He would hold me when I cried as a kid and fall asleep after a long day of work while holding me on the weekends, it made me feel warm and loved. 
I miss him so much already and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Goodbye for now Dad.

Mario has been “family” since he & Shannon Harris met. As boys, they faced the world together with a bond that will never be broken. As teens, life was explorations into the world, while always having each other’s backs & encouragement. As young adults, they took on more of life’s responsibilities as they experienced love of new born babies & becoming the very best fathers to them. As “brothers” in life together, they remained  strong & true. My heart always pictured the two of them to be in their 80’s, sitting somewhere watching a sunset and laughing about the lifetime of memories, sharing stories of children, grandchildren, friends & families. Mario, you are loved & missed deeply.  Until we meet again….💕🕊️
