Maria Eva (Leon) Pacheco was born July 31, 1962 to Enrique and Eva Leon. Maria grew up in Douglas, Arizona and graduated from Douglas High School. She moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1985 and worked at Sears, Hughes Federal Credit Union and Meriwest Federal Credit Union for over 20 years. She met Tony Pacheco in 1984 and were married for 29 years.
Maria is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Torres Leon and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her large family, including her father, Enrique Leon, and her husband, Tony Pacheco.

Maria enjoyed listening to Tejano and Country music, crafting, reading and writing poetry. As a young girl, Maria loved to play softball. She had a very generous and kind heart and tried to help as many people as she could. In particular she liked helping special needs children and adults.
We will miss Maria’s kind spirit, her love of coffee and shopping. Maria truly lived one-day-at-a-time and didn’t like to rush or be rushed. Her motto was, “Sit down, take time to relax, it will be there tomorrow”.
