Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Margot left this world October 31, 2017 surrounded by the riches of a loving family. A longtime resident of Tucson, Margot grew up in Nogales, Arizona and graduated from Nogales High School before moving to Tucson where she met the love of her life, Irving Vogel. They soon married and together they raised a happy family in Tucson. From sports to scouting, Margot loved to participate in her family’s activities....
Margot is preceded in death by her husband Irving, her parents, Francisco Armando and Maria Cecelia Wanless; and her brother, William Wanless. Those she leaves behind to carry her memory are her sister, Emma Richards; daughter, Anna Vogel; sons, Benjamin Vogel (Rosi) and Frank Vogel; and grandchildren, Jonathan Vogel, Daniel Vogel, Jesse Vogel and Mikayla Vogel.
Margot's legacy is the love of those she leaves behind. Margot was always a kind-hearted soul whose humor and infectious laugh endeared her to all she met. She wanted most to make everyone around her happy, and she succeeded. Graveside services will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road Friday, November 10, at 10:30 a.m. A meal of condolence take place at Congregation Or Chadash, 3939 N. Alvernon Way immediately following the service.
