It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Luz Teresa, Tere as her friends and family knew her. She left this world on July 18th, surrounded by her loving family. Luz Teresa was born on October 15, 1952, in Nogales Sonora, and her life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Luz Teresa was a pillar of strength and courage to all who knew her. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Guadalupe Ramirez, and together they built a beautiful life filled with sincerity and devotion. Their story served as a shining example of commitment, resilience, and unwavering support.
Family was at the center of Luz Teresa's life. She was a loving mother to 3 children, Eric Ernesto, Margarita, & Jose Guadalupe. She cherished every moment spent with her 5 grandchildren, Ericka, Stephanie, Aileen, Christian, & most recently baby Eric. She took great joy in witnessing their growth and accomplishments.
Luz Teresa had a passion for cooking. Whether it was family parties or church functions, she found solace, happiness, and peace standing over a pot of rice. She was known for her delicious homemade meals and had family over every Thursday, creating a vibrant atmosphere that brought joy to all who visited.
Throughout her life, Luz Teresa touched the lives of many with her quick-witted, confident, and tenacious spirit. She was a source of wisdom and guidance, always ready to lend a listening ear or offer an intuitive word. Her legacy of love and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
We will remember Luz Teresa's infectious smile, her warm hugs, and the twinkle in her eyes. As we bid farewell to our dear Tere, let us find solace in the cherished memories we shared and the love that will continue to unite us.
Luz Teresa is survived by her loving son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 7 brothers and sisters, and extended family. We invite you to join us in celebrating her remarkable life on Tuesday July 30th and Wednesday July 31st.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
A visitation for Luz will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vida Nueva Church of God, 330 W Nebraska St, Tucson, AZ 85706. An additional visitation will occur the following morning Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM also at Vida Nueva Church of God. A funeral service will follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
A graveside service will occur Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
