Lupe's primary interest were her children and grandchildren and beyond; as she had five generations in
her legacy. Her love for family was unquestionable. Even her children's friends considered her a second
mother. Her home was always open to them as well as extended family. She was known to most as Ma.
She was married to Manuel Vasquez for 17 years. Ironically, as a newborn she lived on Calle Vasquez in
Mexico. Lupe had a strong work ethic and at times worked 2-3 jobs to provide for her family. She was a
beautiful lady known to many by her red hair and updos hair styles.
She was a foodie and loved dining out. She enjoyed all types of cuisines. From the finest of dining to
street tacos and hotdogs. One of her biggest strength's was her personality. She loved meeting people
from all walks of life and socializing. She loved Mariachi's and her children frequently brought her
Mariachis on Mother's Day, Birthday Days and Our Lady of Guadalupe Day. She could rock to Rock &
Roll, Country Music, the Oldies but Goodies and she loved to dance.
She loved to traveled and ventured with her daughters throughout the United States and abroad. She
also enjoyed cruises and experienced trips on the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. She visited ports in
Mexico, Caribbean, Grand Cayman, Bahamas, Hawaii and many other ports throughout her ocean
excursions.
