Mi tata fue una persona muy influyente en mi vida. Por el, yo quería ser periodista y tome muchas clases en la escuela para lograrlo. Por el, también tome clases de mecanografía y taquigrafía. Y también por el, aprendi mucho vocabulario en Español para poder comunicarme mejor y sentirme orgullosa que aunque nunca tome clases de Español, hablaba como una persona educada; como el. Siempre sentí mucho orgullo de por ser la nieta de el Profesor Luis Leyva. Y también porque yo sentía que era inteligente como el. Me gustaba el periodismo, la medicina y el deporte, como a el. Mis recuerdos de mi niñez favoritos, es cuando nos asia cosquillas con su bigote y también verlo salir del baño cada mañana, rasurado y con su bulto de ropa sucia. Él vivió una larga vida y se que está descansando pero lo voy a extrañar. QEPD. Lo quiero mucho.

Tata, te quiero mucho 💕thank you for all the great memories I had growing up with you and being home in agua prieta , to Douglas to then TUCSON , I will miss you so much thank you for everything you showed me ,your life lessons and  your unconditional love and support you gave me and my children i will never forget that thank you 🌹I will miss you dearly thank you  I love you💗

Tata, so many great memories you have left  in my heart.  You helped me in many ways and that I will never forget.  Your love was unconditional! I will never forget your saying “es Niña quiere comer” “ Ésa niña tiene hambre” Beautiful memories and I thank god for letting us share many memories with you. ❣️I  love you!  One more Angel above us. 😇 

When I was about 8, I remember going to AP with my Mom. I believe that's the first time I met my Tata. He was so happy to see us! Years went by and I contacted my Aunt and cousin to see how he was doing. Later that year we went to Tucson and we were able to see him again. He didn't remember me much but he did remember my sister and brother. I introduced him to my daughters. I'm so happy that I was able to see him again with my girls. We have and always will have so much respect and love for our Tata! Tata thank you for all that you did for my Mom and brother!  Rest in Peace Tata!

I will always remember when my dad and mom used to take us to see you when we were small and you would show us different things you had i will always keep your memory in my heart you will be missed for sure Tata im so sorry i wasnt around like i should've for you i promise i will tell my kids how wonderful you were i love you Tata rest in peace you will be missed dearly Tata 💔👼
