As a child, Norm moved with his family to Tucson. He then served for 20 years in the military (Army then Air Force), during which he married Merilyn. After many moves for the military, the family settled in Tucson where Norm worked for the Post Office until his retirement.
Norm was preceded in death by his wife in 2007. He is survived by his children Dale (Janice) Armstrong, Sharon (Jim) Solomon, Norma (Jim) Barrett, David (Debbie) Armstrong and Diane Armstrong, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Norm will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706; followed by a 12:30pm Celebration of Life luncheon at GracePointe Evangelical Free Church (2555 W Valencia Rd).
