She was EVERYBODY'S best friend. Everyone's. She did so much for all of us, each and every one of us. Tirelessly and selflessly giving to help every one of her family members and friends to make life special and joyous for each one of them. She's still the most beautiful person I've ever seen, known or loved. I miss her always, everyday, and especially today, on her birthday. She taught me so much, her words resonate in my head and heart daily,  I've loved her from the minute she was born. Always have and always will. She truly is special and always will be. Anyone who knew her even for a few seconds, knows that she was real and special. I am beyond thankful and blessed to call her my beautiful Lisa, my sister.

She was never ours. The Lord loaned her to us for a while so she could do His work. What an amazing job she did.

My daughter and I were having a conversation the other day about following Jesus. She said, "Mom, I learned the most about what it means to really follow Jesus from you and from Lisa Furrow." She said, "She was such a wonderful, loving teacher and woman"

Lisa, you made such an impact on so many people, I remember when I received the call, I just cried and cried. I am comforted knowing you have received your reward from our Savior! Thank you for your faith and love for Christ and for all you came in contact with.

I want the world to know. She was the most selfless, loving, incredibly beautiful person, ever!

She looked at me and said "Do you have any questions?"  I did. I was prepared to do anything. I would have given my life for her, anything. So, gathered myself and said "yes".  "Is there anything I can do for you?" I wondered, what will she say? Be there for David? Help Christopher?  Support JessIe?  I didn't know. She looked right at me and said..."Be happy."  I felt the air leave the room and a ton of bricks land on me. I thought, how could I ever be happy?  How can I?  I can't ever smile again. But, it was not about me, I needed to remember that. I gathered myself and said "that's going to be difficult". She immediately said "Just follow Jesus and you'll be happy". Nothing selfish, just her incredible beautiful wisdom, advice and insight. So smart. I miss her and her vision, perspective and advice. She gave me the best advice my entire life, daily.  She did for everyone. Totally loving, beautiful & selfless. It's her birthday today. I could list a million reasons why I love her and miss her every minute.  But truly, this is not about me, it's about the most amazing, beautiful sister anyone could ever have.  That was her, a complete treasure, a total blessing. Delightful from the minute she was born.  She lived her life as an example for every one of us; she walked in Love, always. She showed us all how it should be done.

Please accept my sincerest and most profound sorrow. I have been blessed by all  at the Calvary Tucson. May God shine in your hearts and comfort you all your days.

Just this year Lisa gave me my Warrior Princess bracelet. She told me we were all Princesses. I remember seeing her in the sanctuary holding her hands palms up for the Lord. Though I live in Texas, Calvary is where I found the Lord again and was Baptized. My heart aches for you, Pastor Furrow, your family and my Calvary family.  God Bless us all.

Although we never met them in person, we've invited Pastor Furrow into our home every Sunday morning for many years and felt that he and his family were part of ours.  While Lisa has a Heavenly home, our thoughts and prayers are with the Furrow family because she is no longer in theirs.

There is a void in our hearts that will never be filled after losing such a precious soul. Lisa dedicated her life to help heal, save, lead, and restore faith through the salvation of Jesus Christ our Savior. We embrace His promise and word that she entered His kingdom. We miss Lisa so much. Not a day goes by without thinking of her life long journey, devotion, strong-will and smile. My prayers are with Pastor Robert Furrow and family.

It can be so hard to face the new year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Today, my husband and I attended Calvary Chapel. It has been many years since we have attended Calvary Chapel. We left Tucson 14 years ago and moved back two years ago. It is so sad to hear of the passing of Lisa. We are so sad for the Furrows and extended family members and friends of the Furrows for this is truly a sad and great loss.  We pray for God's Mercy on Pastor Furrow and his family as they mourn. May God mercifully heal all your hearts and fill each of you with his peace when you are feeling alone. We love all of you!!!

Dear Pastor Furrow and family...I am so sorry for your loss.  Having lost both my husband and my daughter during the days of Christmas celebrations, I know how devastating loss like yours can be.  You want to celebrate the birth of Jesus with great joy, but your loss makes that celebration difficult.  Lisa was such a bright, loving spirit, and the whole world seems dimmer without her. I had hoped and prayed that God would work a miracle. He just needed Lisa for some reason; one we won't know about until we meet her on the other side. It's us on this side that feel the hurt and pain - the loss of a loved one. But she'll be looking down on you, Pastor  Robert, and your family, smiling as you continue to do God's work. Our time on this earth is short - we'll all get to see her again soon!

Pastor Robert and Family, Times like this are difficult to put into words. Lisa made a huge impact in my life as I was going through my divorce. She created a summer bible study for single agains, and through scripture and prayer, I found the Lord's acceptance and made lasting friendships. Lisa had an honesty about her, with a sparkling wink, and a soft smile, and I admired her relationship with our Lord. Her leadership of Women's ministries will be sorely missed, but I know she will be directing the retreats and ministries from heaven. The entire Furrow family will continue to be in my prayers. May our Lord bring you comfort and peace and wrap you tightly in His sweet loving arms. God Bless All of You!

Her pain is over and she's with Christ.  You must remain here until you are together again in heaven.  It's hard, but with God's love, grace and mercy you will continue the work God laid out for you. 

You know that we (many people) will continue to pray for you and your family.  

I lost my younger sister to cancer and I am recovering from cancer surgery.  None of us know what God has planned for us.  We live each moment in his grace and mercy and love.  You prayed with me when I started my journey with cancer and I thank you. I pray for you now.

My heart breaks for Robert and the kids. Calvary was my home church from 1985-2007 and they were like family. I took care of the kids in Sunday school and nursery and now I am weeping for them! I am so sorry for your loss. I got saved at Calvary, and although I never met Lisa- I could just see what a wonderful and loving woman she was through Pastor Robert sharing his anecdotes on her, marriage, and the kids.
