Leroy Junior Cox

COX, LeRoy Junior, born February 27, 1929 in Oregon City, OR, to Daniel and Laura Cox, passed away on July 26, 2011 in Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tamara; brother, Robert; sister, Martha; one granddaughter and one great-grandson. LeRoy is survived by his spouse, Lois; two sisters, Lynn and Sherri; children, Pam, Amy, Pennie, Don and Ron; two stepdaughters, Maria and Sandi; 12 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren, plus numerous cousins. LeRoy served his country with the US Marines from 1950-1951 in Korea. He became a Land Surveyor in the California Bay area, Lake Tahoe and the Dalles and Estacada Dams in Oregon. He was also a 30 year resident of Carson City, NV. Funeral Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Visitation one hour prior at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery with Military Honors.
