To Leila, my love, my best friend and the woman who gave up her life in San Diego, drove to Tucson and literally saved me from self destruction. We spent 40 years together, supporting and loving each other. What a life she had: Data analyst at Brookhaven Lab on Long Island, a Jazz singer in NYC, Piano tuner/technician in NYC, San Diego and Tucson and a publisher/author with as many as 50 titles on Amazon. In October 2020 Leila fell and broke her left ankle in two places, underwent surgery and then caught Covid at the rehab center. She came home after 9 days in the hospital Covid ward, all this at 84 years old. I had the privilege of being her caregiver for the last 2.5 years of her life. Leila was the bravest soul I’ve ever met, not one complaint in the 43 years I knew her.
She passed 18 days shy of her 87th birthday.
Miss you Leila
All my Love
