Dear Kathy and Mason,
I heard about your loss when Dean passed away.  Bruce gave me the vase that held the beautiful flowers that you sent.  I keep it filled with flowers.  I am sorry that I did not acknowledge Kimberly's passing.  I did not know until the day we buried Dean.  If I had, I would have called.  But, look how long it has taken me to contact you expressing saddness for your loss.  I just can't comprehend how our lovely children are not with us any more and I struggle everyday. Which is why it has taken me so long to write to you.  

I think of you both often since Kim and Dean's passing and Kathy if you are up to it, maybe we could talk sometime.  My number is 530-273-7802. I would enjoy hearing about your Grandson and how the rest of your family is doing.

To Kathy, Mason, and David:  I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  Not sure if your remember me, but Kim and I were best friends growing up until my family moved to Sacramento.  Kim made for me a tape recording explaining how much she was going to miss me and I hung on to it all these years.  She had such a beautiful heart.  I feel blessed to have known her. I miss you baby girl, I miss your dimples and your humor. We were attached at the hip for your entire life. We shared everything and not a day went by that you didnt call me. Usually with funny things that happened at work. You should know that your son is graduating next month and he is an A student and driving his own car. I know how happy you were about everything in your life when you passed. And I thank god it was at home with peaple that loved you...sleep my princess. When I lost my daugter, Kimberly, I truly wanted to die to be with her but she left me a blessing with her son David. He has brought us such joy and happiness. And he has her huge dimples. My Dearest Kim. I just wanted to take a second to let you know how beautiful of a person you are and that I love you. I can see you still as a little 10yr old little girl, and can remember how you grew into a "lovely" lady. There's nothing I can say to express the depth you occupy in my heart. The endless wonderful memories of our time together on this earth. I want to thank you for being a part of my life. I want to thank you for being a "real" friend, who took the time to love me too. It's Paula....I am not sure if you remember me....but I was Kimberly's friend, when you lived in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca....I just want to let you know that I am sorry for your loss....I didnt know Kimberly had passed away until Saturday (may 2, 2010)....I didnt want to believe it when a friend of Kim had told me...but when I read her facebook and myspace....messages from other people then that's when I knew it was true. I just remember what a beautiful little girl she was and how much my sister (her grandmother) loved her. I haven't seen her for several years but I have sweet memories of a beautiful person. Dearest Cousin Cathy and Mason,
Losing your beautiful daughter, there can be no words adequate or strong enough to squeeze the pain out of your hearts.  Such an unexpected loss of your child must have left a hole so deep, it must echo every ache. We were all so shocked at the sad news. I am so profoundly sorry that Kimberly is no longer with us. I would loved to have gotten to know the lovely woman she had become. I cannot possibly know the depth of your loss and sorrow nor the loss your family is still reeling from now. It is such a shame that time, distance and circumstances has kept us from knowing each other better. At least I did get to meet your lovely children on a few brief occasions.  Thank you for sharing their pictures. Please know that Kimberly, you and your family will be in my prayers. I hope that we will have an opportunity to see each other in the not to distant future. Kim I am truly going to miss you little cousin, you know that we were more than cousins we were like sisters (we even fought like sisters LOL) but we always made up. I can still remeber when we were pregnate together with our boys 16 years ago and gave birth 15 days apart. Now that was crazy. I hope that you are resting peacefully and saying hello to grandma Corrine and catching her up on all the lastest gossip. Kim I want you to know that I am proud of everything that you have done,you were are great daughter, a good mother and a terrific cousin. I love you to death and I am going to miss you more than I can tell you, I will always keep you in my heart and there will not be a day that I don't think of you I love you........Love Cathryn
