He was born on June 4, 1945 in Exeter, California to parents Richard and Bonnie Roberts. He graduated from Electronic Technical Institute (ETI) in San Diego, California with an Associate Degree in Science. At the end of his third year at ETI he accepted a position with IBM, where he worked for almost 18 years. He managed his own business, Precision Wire Wrapping, for eight years until his retirement.
He was a great family man, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He married his darlin’, Nancy, on June 21, 1966 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed just 19 days short of their 53rd wedding anniversary. The couple had six children together, including a daughter who died in utero.
Ken was an active man who was deeply involved in the Church of Christ since the age of nine. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, hunting, fishing and gold prospecting. His family and friends will always remember him as honest and honorable, a great counselor, qualities learned from his management experience with IBM.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and concern. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken’s name as a very special tribute acknowledging his pride in his granddaughter, Alexie, who has raised funds allowing local veterans to take their Honor Flight. Donations to Honor Flight Southern Arizona can be made at the visitation or service or at https://honorflightsaz.org. The “Southern Arizona” chapter website has a special instructions field to indicate Ken and/or Alexie’s names.
