Spending the weekend at Karen and Galen’s place in Danialsville was always great. Fishing, hiking, the dogs (Max), listening to country western music, Jim Niebors as well Lmao.  Doing crafts, ceramics painting, playing games. Oh yeah watching Hee Haw. Rest in  Peace. Luv Ya. Say hi to everyone.

Aunt Karen was a fiery spirit who loved trains, her new life out West, and her many nieces and nephews. I will always remember the time we spent together going through Aunt Marianne’s apartment and things with the rest of the ladies in the family. Aunt Karen was the last to survive of  the 7 Bitler siblings, and we will certainly keep their memory alive in their honor. Aunt Karen was an amazing aunt to my mom, Amy Black, and my uncle, Phil Girard. Aunt Karen, may you rest in peace with Mum Mum in heaven <3

We loved our Aunt Karen so very much and have such fond memories with her. Our families are going to miss her so much but find peace in knowing she is reunited with her parents and all of her siblings. We love you, Aunt Karen!!
