Karen Lynne Baumann, age 62, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Saturday, November 11, after a brain aneurysm. She was born in Chicago, Il on July 28th 1961 to John and Edith Brauchler. Karen graduated from Niles North High School and went on to receive a Bacehlor of Nursing from Oakton Community College. She was married to Mark Baumann on April 13th, 1980. Karen took pride in working as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years in many departments including Oncology, Med-Surg, Rehab, and Hospice. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, painting, and spent time helping the less fortunate. She loved to take her dog Rusty on long walks. Karen is survived by her husband Mark, her children Edward Baumann, Jeffrey Baumann, and Megan Soto, her siblings David, Janet, and Ruth, and her mother Edith. Her wonderful spirit, joy, and compassion will be dearly missed by many.
