Born on May 26, 1923 in Chicago, IL to David and Mildred (Prestin) Burton, she was one of five sisters. In 1943, she married William J. Teufel and had two daughters; Linda (Considine) and Holly (Brady). She worked at Mount Greenwood Bank in various positions until she retired. In the 1980’s, she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she lived until her husband passed in 1992. She then moved to Las Vegas, NV where she lived until the passing of her oldest daughter, Linda, in 2015. In 2015, she moved to Tucson, AZ.
June lived a very active lifestyle. As a child, she would play ball in the streets with the kids in her neighborhood. As an adult, she enjoyed dancing, swimming, and social gatherings and outings with family and friends. She loved being around people and made friends everywhere she went.
June is survived by her daughter, Holly, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
June will be laid to rest at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler, AZ (date and time to be determined at a later date).
