Judi (Moore) Sagar died on March 14th after living with Multiple Sclerosis for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elaine Moore and is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Bob, and her daughters Kristi Sagar (Mike Duer) and Kendra Coder (David). She is also survived by her beautiful grandsons Blake, Dean, and Luke; her siblings John Moore (Connie), Tom Moore, and Donna Boyd (J.R.); as well as many nieces and nephews and her brother and sister-in-law Marlan (Marian) and Barbara (Phil).
Judi grew up in Texas and moved to Tucson at the age of 19. She met Bob in 1977 and they were married seven weeks (to the day) later. She worked for Tucson Realty for many years, first as a secretary and later as an agent. Judi loved helping people and spent time volunteering for the psychiatric hospital, hospice, 12-step support groups, her daughters' elementary school, and her church. She also enjoyed reading, journaling, playing games, going for long car rides, and most importantly in her later years - Dr. Pepper. If you knew Judi, you know that she could make anyone laugh and give anyone the gift of a listening, understanding, accepting ear.
Judi's faith in Christ was at the core of her being and she didn’t want the end of her life on earth to bring sorrow, but rather an attitude of thanksgiving and celebration. Please join the family for a short service at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 18th, at Christ Community Church, 530 S. Pantano Rd., Tucson, AZ 85710. Reception to follow at a later date.
