Juan Angel Serrano, 35, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 4:14 p.m. He crossed over peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by tremendous love. He was received by his Father in Heaven and reunited with his earthly father, Angel Serrano. Juan is survived by his loving wife Morgan Serrano, cherished mother Jannette Aguayo, and his beloved siblings, Dalio D’oleo, Yashira Serrano, Christopher Serrano, Jayzanette Colondres, and Caridad Serrano.
Juan was born on January 17, 1989 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and moved with his family to New York at the age of 3. In 2013, Juan found a new home in Arizona where he would go on to build a beautiful life, ultimately meeting his wife, and leaving an unforgettable impact on all who were fortunate to know him.
Juan’s life was defined by his laudable strength and positivity, particularly throughout his battle with colon cancer. Diagnosed in 2020, Juan fought with unwavering tenacity and celebrated remission for a time. When he was re-diagnosed in 2023, Juan embraced both conventional and holistic treatments in his enduring fight, making significant lifestyle changes in the pursuit of healing. His strength, faith, and unwavering hope were an inspiration to all who stood beside him.
Despite his battles, Juan welcomed each day with kindness, compassion, and an inspiring sense of optimism. He was a loving dog dad to Koko, Ghost and Balto – his loyal companions, bringing him comfort and joy on even the most difficult days.
Juan’s legacy is one of love, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for life’s simplest joys. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to meet him.
Services will be held at Zion City Church at 2561 W. Ruthrauff Rd, Tucson AZ 85705 on December 7, 2024 at 11:00 am.
