Josephine Williams (Jones) was a very special woman of God with a heart of gold. She was born in Annona, TX, Red River County by parents J.B. Gray and Mary Frances Turner on June 16, 1928, making her the first born of 15 children. Over the years, she grew up and married, having four children of her own, Pat Manning, Jesse Simmons Jr. (Irene Simmons), Robert Harold Williams III (Arlene Williams) and Rochelle D. Kee (Kenneth Kee). She was the matriarch of her family, the glue that held everyone together. Josephine was lovingly addressed as “Aunt Jo” to a great deal of family members as well as people of no relation, as well as “Fee-Fee”, “Ms. Josephine” and not to forget “Boss” by her grand & great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her recent husband Horace Jones, her loving parents, sisters Blanche, Juanita & Margaret, brothers Clifford Ray, Arthur Ray & Billy, then lastly her great granddaughter Gabriella.
