A whole year has passed since Joe passed on and find his rest.    Losing a parent is a loss like no other.  I wish you peace as you circle through this second year without Joe.  He really was teriffic.   And I just realized he shares Jan. 1st with my brother, Tom,  born in 1951!

My deepest sympathies to the Bileti family.   I worked for Joe as his secretary in Troy, Michigan from 1979 - 1985 (ish).    Fresh out of school, he took a chance and hired me when I had no actual experience as a legal secretary.  He was very patient and was always happy to explain things to me and he was an excellent teacher.   Back then, he did not use a dictating machine -- I took all dictation in shorthand.  And my shorthand skills were not that great!  Once, he gave me a little newspaper clipping that said, "You may march to the beat of a different drummer, but I want the beat speeded up".   I still have that clipping taped to  my home computer.      Rest in peace, Joe.

i knew joe for 7 years at mt.view retirement village. he was a good friend and i enjoyed
all his stories. 7 years was way too short but i did enjoy our friendship. god bless you joe. anne sires

M.y wife and I were neighbors of Joe and Terry for many years. They were both great people and we had many great times together particular on the golf course. Our kids participated in Joe’s basement playhouse. Joe never did anything half way. When he got involved in something he was always fully committed. My condolences to the family. While he will be missed I hope they will remember he lead a full and complete life.

My Grandad was one of the funniest people I knew, and certainly a man of law. When my brother and I were young and used to fight in front of him over a stolen stuffed animal, he'd hold trial for us (playing both the prosecutor and defense), making us come up with statements and putting us on the stand. It always ended in us giggling instead of fighting (and he always let me win because I was younger.) He was so, so special, and he brought so much joy to our lives. I know he's watching over us in Heaven with my Nonni, and that brings me so much peace.

Dear cousins,, Margie and I will always remember Uncle Joe's advise  and guidance.  As well as his yearly visits to stay with us in Sarasota.  We were truly blessed to have had him in our lives as an Uncle  and as a friend.  Uncle Joe  and Aunt Terry will always be in our hearts and memories.  With love, John and Margie

Joe and Ardell were cheer leaders in high school , there were eight of us in a Model A coupe with a rumple seat to go to the games. We have remained friends these many years. We visited Joe in Florida before he moved to Arizona to be close to his family. Joe sent us a generous wedding present several years ago and  Ardell and Joe have been faithful to keep in touch with each other. We received a Christmas card from him this year. His memory will live on in our hearts.

Lisa, Jay and Anne, our sincere condolences. We considered your mom and dad part of our extended family and enjoyed your dad's keen wit and wonderful stories through the years. His gentle kindness will always be remembered by the Costa family. With Love Julie and Peter Kreher.

Truly a gentleman’s, gentleman. Never treated me like a son-in-law, always like a son. Joe, and my mother-in-law, Terry, have been so good to me and my family throughout my life that there’s no way I can thank them enough. Just  know I feel extremely blessed to have grown up with you. I love you. Rest In Peace. 

Joe, like Terry, was the epitome of the word; genuine. His elan for life, his love of righteousness and everything that is good in this world were ever-present. He truly carried the light of Jesus Christ wherever he went.
When I first met Joe and Terry, they treated me as if I was part of their family, even if by association to Jay. Imagine if we all carried ourselves the way they did.
It has become obvious by now that I cannot speak of Joe without including Terry. That's because they were so exemplary of God's great institution of Marriage and it's tenet, "...and the two shall become one." 
Joe blessed us all with an unfailing joy for life that was as infectious as it was uplifting. He lived the great commandment, "treat others as you would want them to treat you".
All of us who were given the pleasure of sharing a moment with Joe and Terry know how much their presence was a blessing.
Now they are both in Heaven serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and sharing the Father's true light that we all long for.
Such champions for the faith, they were, and such role models, they continue to be, if only in our memory.
May it ever be.
It's not goodbye, Joe & Terry! May we all, through faith, join you in due course.

I was able to meet  Joe and Terry through  Jay and Lynne.  Terry and Joe were incredible and fun people.  Joe became  my patient in Tucson and we had a mutual respect.  I hope someday to become the gentleman he was.  Never knowing my father, you were all so lucky!

We met Joe Bileti through his son, Jay  and Jay's wife, Lynn.   We spent time together enjoying good food and wine and laughter.  Joe had a keen sense of humor and often had a good story to tell.  He would also listen...to your stories.   And he would listen with intent.    We also had the chance to play a round or two of golf with Joe and Jay together before he had to give up the game he loved.   
He was a treasure and will be missed.

I am so thankful God have me you for a Dad. I will never meet a better person and I miss you so much already. I know you are happy to be reunited with mom and  so many loved ones but Grandad stories will continue to live on  here on Earth. I love you. 

Rest in peace, Dad. You were the closest thing to a perfect man I've ever met. I will continue to aspire to be the man you were.
