Born to Jose "Pete" and Maria Castillo on March 8, 1957 in Marana, Az. He grew up in the surrounding area and graduated from Marana High School in 1976 and moved to Tucson. He had many jobs throughout his lifetime, centered in the construction industry specializing in concrete. He was an art lover and had deep roots in his Yaqui culture. He was a firm believer in enjoying life and could often be found spending time with family and friends. He will be missed. He is survived by his children, Monique, Rachel and Joseph Castillo. As well as his grandchildren, Kaelin, Jade, Marissa, Tessa and Annika and great granddaughter Violet. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service for him on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 AM at Capilla San Ignacio de Loyola, 785 W Sahuaro St, Tucson, AZ 85705.
