John V. Salazar, 85, passed away on December 21, 2019, meeting his Lord an Savior.
Married for 63 years, John is survived by his loving wife Olga and his children, Nancy Acosta, John, Leonard (Rosalinda) and Sandra. He was a devoted brother to Rene, Gustavo(Anna) and Mimi Salazar Calistro(Henry). This indulgent Tata will be missed by his10 grandchildren and 13 1/2 great grandchildren.
John served in the U.S.Air Force, and the Az. Air National Guard 162nd Wing. Including his volunteer time he was recognized by the 162nd for 50 years of dedicated service to our nation. He was also an active parishioner at St. John's Catholic Church. As a "Jack of all Trades" he made himself available for church and school needs such as painting, fiestas, and ushering for Sunday masses and special occasions
